CORONAVIRUS: 8 June: The hall is completely closed to public and private events until 4 July. This is the date the government are proposing for reopening of public venues, subject to various restrictions and rules – details not yet published.
We are taking bookings for events from 4 July, on the basis that they can only take place if government restrictions allow. And please note, social distancing restrictions will mean that the number of people who can attend any specific event will be lower – we will need to calculate this when we know what you plan. We will, sadly, not be back to normal.
School use and exercise classes are likely to start soonest.
Because there are uncertainties as to what regulations will be in the autumn and beyond, we are waiving our normal cancellation policy for events booked at any dates in the remainder of 2020.
We hope to see you again soon!
We are using the enforced closure to carry out some maintenance and improvement tasks, so no access even if you have a key. If you need access to the hall (eg to access to storage), contact Don Mildenhall or Miles Freeman.
If you have booked the hall and need to discuss rescheduling or cancellation, ring the Booking Line on 01395 262640 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
